As the warm weather comes in, there's not much better than targeting trout feeding on damsel nymphs around the weedbeds, even when the fish get a bit finnicky and stop reponding to "damsel" patterns that are basically lures. This little pattern is ideally suited for exactly that, packed with movement and sized appropriately with just enough bling to catch their eye while still remaining imitative.
